As a passionate landscape photographer, I find solace and inspiration in capturing the beauty of nature's canvas. This particular photograph was taken back in 2013 during a magical August evening at the Eagle River Nature Center in the heart of Alaska. As I embarked on a serene hike through the park, I couldn't resist being drawn to the allure of a breathtaking sunset that graced the horizon.
During my exploration, I stumbled upon the Salmon viewing platform—a bridge elegantly spanning the water, offering a front-row seat to witness the spectacle of salmon in their seasonal migration. The stunning valley that unfolded before me was a sight to behold. The sheer vastness of the landscape left me in awe.
Patiently waiting for the perfect moment, I marveled at the play of colors as the sun dipped closer to the horizon. With my trusty Canon 7D and the EF-S 10-22mm USM, my favorite lens for capturing expansive vistas, I was ready to immortalize this unforgettable scene.

I Shoot with a Canon 7D and 5D Mark II. The photo was taken by my Canon 7D with a EF-S10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM + Polarizer and Neutral Density filter x4.
